The Ohio Roofing Alliance (ORA) is a united organization of dedicated roofing contractors and professionals in the state of Ohio. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence in the roofing industry and serving as a reliable resource for both industry professionals and consumers.

Our mission is to foster a collaborative environment where roofing contractors and professionals can come together, share knowledge, and implement best practices. Through our adherence to the ORA protocol, we strive to promote the highest level of craftsmanship, safety, and integrity in all roofing projects undertaken across Ohio.

The Ohio Roofing Alliance is driven by the following core principles:

    The Ohio Roofing Alliance endeavors to be the leading voice of the roofing industry in Ohio, championing professionalism, excellence, and integrity. Together, we work towards the betterment of the roofing industry, serving the needs of industry professionals and consumers alike.

OHIO ROOFING ALLIANCE PROTOCOL

 
  • Our members will not perform or act in any way that would reflect negatively on the ORA and roofing industry as a whole. Our members conduct business legally, ethically and morally. We abide by all state and local laws, statutes, and regulations. We do not engage in any fraudulent activities.

  • Our members are dedicated to being professionals in the roofing industry. We conduct ourselves in a presentable, respectful, and professional manner no matter the circumstances.

  • Our members are fully licensed, bonded, and insured in accordance with their local jurisdictions and will always provide proof of such upon request.

  • Our members provide and uphold their workmanship warranties at a minimum of 2 years.

  • Our members operate in accordance with Ohio building codes and regulations.

  • Our members never publically shame or disparage another ORA or roofing industry member.

  • Our members practice principles before profits, providing honest property evaluations, fair estimates, and practical solutions.

  • Our members provide only the highest quality materials and installation methods

  • Our members honor any and all obligations to their customers, correcting any mistakes as quickly as possible and making good faith efforts to resolve any disputes that may arise.

  • Our members treat all of their employees, subcontractors, and suppliers in a fair and ethical manner.

  • Our members treat all roofing industry professionals including adjusters, ladder assists, and agents with respect and dignity.

  • Our members apply all work in accordance with approved specifications/scopes of work and written change orders.

  • Our members support each other and our competitors, refusing to engage in any disparaging practices that may cause detriment to their customers, businesses, employees, or subcontractors.

  • Our members will address any and call complaints or violations made against them within 30 days and respond in good faith to resolve them. Failure to do so will result in termination of membership. The ORA will provide written notice of the complaint/violation in a timely manner.

  • Our members are committed to the betterment of their communities, ORA members, and the roofing industry as a whole and agree to partake in volunteer opportunities, donations, and fundraisers approved by the ORA.
